Publication of a scientific article in one of the Nature Publications by a member of the Fasa University faculty

Nature is one of the most prestigious publications in science, and it consistently represents human development in a variety of subjects. Originality, significance, interdisciplinarity, timeliness, delicacy, and surprising conclusions are all criteria used to choose the greatest scientific research in the domains of science and technology for publishing in these periodicals. Publishing articles in these publications is usually a major objective for the world's leading colleges.
Today, Fasa University and the scientific community of Fasa city are witnessing a magnificent honor. "Dr. Mahdieh Hashemi, Associate Professor, Department of Physics, Fasa University," published an article in the journal Scientific Reports titled "MoS2-based absorbers with whole visible spectrum coverage and high efficiency."
The authors of this research used nanoscale ribbons of gold on a thin layer (atomic thickness) of MoS2 material to improve the structure's absorption in the whole visible light range to more than 80%. By incorporating this structure into photovoltaic solar cells, optical detectors, and modulators, a significant step toward developing devices with high efficiency and bandwidth has been made.
Therfore, we believe it is necessary to express our gratitude and appreciation for her tireless efforts in expanding the university's scientific community, as well as to congratulate her and the Fasa University community on this outstanding achievement.
