Exploitation of Virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) project at Fasa University

According to Fasa University Public Relations, one of the computer workshops was conducted by the university's IT department during the first phase of the VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) service launch project at the University of Fasa.
For a 20-system workshop, the deployment of this technology resulted in a savings of 500 million Tomans. Other computer and system workshops for employees and professors will be included in the project's later phases. This technique is intended to provide a virtual desktop environment based on a server, allowing distant users to access server processing capabilities while utilizing standard computer systems, eliminating the requirement for a powerful computer system to execute their program.
Shared software, on the other hand, does not need to be installed on individual workstations and is simply installed once on the server. It is estimated that by the end of the project, we would have saved more than 35 billion Rials in economic terms.
